Aptitude Security – Private Investigation Booking Policy Purpose This policy defines the procedures for booking private investigation services to ensure transparency, efficiency, and compliance with legal and organizational standards. Scope Applies to all clients requesting private investigation services and to Aptitude Security personnel responsible for scheduling and managing these bookings. Booking Process Request Submission: All investigation bookings must be submitted in writing via email or through the official Aptitude Security booking portal. Required Details: Clients must provide: Full name and contact information Nature of investigation and objectives Preferred start date and estimated duration Any special requirements (e.g., surveillance, background checks) Lead Time: Bookings should be made at least 72 hours in advance to allow resource allocation and compliance checks. Authorization & Approval All bookings require approval from the Chief Security Officer (CSO) or delegated authority before confirmation. Investigations involving sensitive or high-risk activities must undergo a risk assessment in line with Aptitude Security’s Safety Management Plan. Pricing & Quotas Services are billed according to the agreed subscription or casual rates Client Responsibilities Provide accurate and complete information to avoid delays. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and contractual obligations. Confirm acceptance of Aptitude Security’s Code of Conduct and Privacy Policy prior to commencement. Cancellation & Rescheduling Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Late cancellations may incur a fee equivalent to two hours of service. Rescheduling is subject to investigator availability and may require additional approval. Compliance & Confidentiality All investigations will adhere to the Private Security Personnel and Private Investigators Act 2010 and the Privacy Act 2020. Client information and evidence collected will be handled in strict confidence. Enforcement Failure to comply with this policy may result in refusal of service or termination of the agreement.
